For clients wishing to introduce a new system or upgrade an existing one, MGM. Computing can provide a Senior Consultant to discuss with the client and staff the specific computing requirements. Once these have been defined, the Consultant will produce a Project Plan detailing hardware and software needs, time scales, cost analysis and external dependencies. The comprehensive Project Plan is then presented to the client for discussion and approval.
Once approved, the Consultant will be the main contact for the client, and will act as the Project Leader during the course of the project. Should any requirements change during the project, the impact of these changes will be examined and possible amendments to the project reported.
Two levels of consultancy are available. MGM Computing can take the project through to completion, providing all of the necessary labour and equipment. If this case, the consultancy is provided free of charge.
Alternatively, if the client wishes to use in-house resources to implement the project, the MGM Computing Consultant can still be retained to assist with or lead the project, dealing with any of the client's own suppliers and/or staff.
Systems always fail to perform at critical times, and then you need a support service that is effective, and you need it to be provided quickly and reliably. Our Technical Engineering Service provides a fast and efficient service for client's that already have a computer system installed, but are experiencing problems. A qualified engineer, experienced in both hardware and software fault finding, will identify the problems experienced by the client and make a preliminary diagnosis prior to arrival at the client's site. This will enable the engineer to arrive with any parts or software updates are likely to be required.
Tailoring PC systems to work the way you want your business to work is now a very affordable option. Using MGM Computing's in-depth knowledge of industry standard tools such as Microsoft's' Visual Basic (including VBA and Office Automation), Lotus Notes and Web site development, you can have solutions specific to your needs quickly and at a sensible price. Custom solutions can mean that a company does not have to change to accept new software. Instead, established work practises can often be accommodated, making upgrading and implementation much easier.
When supplying hardware or software, MGM Computing will normally provide a comprehensive Installation Service, which is also available for Software and Hardware sourced from elsewhere. An Installation Engineer can be provided to install the equipment at the client's site.
